La Predica agli uccelli è la quindicesima delle ventotto scene del ciclo di affreschi delle Storie di san Francesco della Basilica superiore di Assisi, attribuiti a Giotto. Fu dipinta verosimilmente tra il 1295 e il 1299. E' più breve delle altre scene perché si trova sulla controfacciata (come la scena del Miracolo della sorgente).

The Sermon to the Birds is the fifteenth of twenty-eight scenes in the cycle of frescoes of the Stories of St. Francis in the Upper Church of Assisi, attributed to Giotto. It was probably painted between 1295 and 1299. It is shorter than the other scenes because it is on the counter-façade ( as the scene of the Miracle of the Spring).
